I am a Senior Research Investigator in PICSL lab leaded by Dr. James Gee at University of Pennsylvania (UPenn). My primary research interests include image processing, camera calibration, and vision techniques in computer vision, image segmentation, image registration, feature extraction, and classification in medical image analysis.
I received my Ph.D from the Inst. Image Processing & Pattern Recognition in Shanghai Jiaotong Unversity in 2006. My adviser is Dr. Jie Yang.
Before joining Upenn, I worked as an intern from 2004 to 2006 at Microsoft Research Asia mentored by Dr. Stephen Lin. I also spent 2007 and 2008 as a limited-term researcher in VIMS lab leaded by Dr. Chandra Kambhamettu in Computer Science Department of the University of Delaware, and 2006 as a postdoctoral researcher in UPenn with Dr. Dinggang Shen.
